I've been to a lot of plays, but this is by far one of the best i've ever seen. The cast is phenomenal, there's this incredible energy that permeates from the cast, and for two hours you get swept away by it. Allie Mulholland and Aubrey Plaza are so convincing as Jim and Judy that they would certainly make James Dean and Natalie Wood proud. Joshua Blaylock is the so riveting as Plato that if Sal Mineo were still alive, Joshua would certainly give him a run for his money. Courtney Merritt who plays Judy's younger sister Belle manages to turn a very small role into a very memorable one. Her facial expressions are priceless and with her braids and dimples she's absolutely adorable. The rest off the cast is also incredible, I wish there was enough space to rave about every last one of them. Overall a wonderful experience. I definitely plan to go back and see it again. It's a must see for any theater lover!

Sadly, most of the nasty reviews are no longer online. If I find the hardcopies, I will type them up. There's a particular one I'd love to share but the magazine went out of business, and the failed actress that wrote it is now a failed critic.

Luckily, we have this gem from Variety.

"One Thing is for sure: If Nicholas Ray was in the wings with his first stars, James Dean, Natalie Wood and Sal Mineo, they'd all be applauding ."
